I would like this memorandum to serve as record that I have not registered myself as an active Lobbyist nor was I informed that ACORN’s National Legislative Office had registered for me.  I would like to be immediately removed from this list and association of any kind.  I lam listed as a lobbyist for the year 2006 and that I registered.  This is a criminal offense and please proceed with any prosecution for this action.   This is a form of Identity theft and I would also like to knowwho from CCI registered me so that I can proceed with further action.

Recently the ACORN 8 learned that the financially and record keepers for ACORN, CCI (Citizens Consulting Incorporated) has hired lobbyist snf routinly lobby in Washington, DC.  The fact that CCI keeps the money for both not for profit and the money for 501c3  raises concerns .  A blogger discovered this situation.  What is particularly disturbing is the fact that Ron Sykes is listed as a lobbyist.  He has never worked for CCI, lobbyed for CCI and was not aware that his name had been used in this way.  As soon as Mr. Skyes found out he sent a letter to both the House and the Senate insisting that his name be removed and suggesting that  this arose to the level of identity theft.
